Read for some pumpkin fun and sensory play? Today it was raining again! It was the third day of rain so I decided it was time to explore our pumpkins. Every year I turn the sensory table into a pumpkin exploration area.

• My children love hammering our pretend nails, which are golf tees, into the pumpkin.

• They also love exploring what is inside the pumpkin – the squishy flesh, strings and seeds.
