Q. What are the advantages of being a male in Early Childhood Education?
"There aren't any! Schools are dominated by women. I was the only male student when getting a degree, and now I work with three of them ... and there are 80 women."
"The question is, do I like it? It isn't that bad, as I've been always connected with schooling. My mum was a teacher, my wife is a teacher, I am a teacher and my daughter wants to be a writer!"
Q. Why is play important for children?
"Children learn through playing. Adults, too, but they refuse to admit that. It is only confirmed true by those who have previous 'camp experience.'"
Q. What is your favorite book to read to the classroom?
"Well, there`s a favorite for every day. Today we've gone through 'Time Chronicles: The Power of the Cell.' Yesterday was 'The Gruffalo's Child.' We love Juila Donaldson. And Alex Brychta`s series about Biff, Chip and Kipper ... never-ending story, as there are more than 800 books in the collection. If I were do recommend some stuff I would opt for Oxford Owl."
Q. How are Polish schools different than schools in the United States?
"Polish students get 'wider' general knowledge in primary schools. They learn about global geography, and two foreign languages is a must."
