Angelina Jolie's Everlane Face Mask: Why We Should All Channel This Actress & Humanitarian During the Coronavirus Pandemic Headlines
After reading about Angelina Jolie wearing a $7,000 dress with a $5 face mask, I knew there had to be more to this story. Surely she could afford to buy a fancy designer mask to go along with that fancy designer dress.
The company who makes the mask she wore is Everlane. After visiting their website I quickly discovered why Jolie chose it. Masks are ubiquitous right now, and they vary in quality and price, and can be purchased pretty much anywhere. But Everlane is not just any company. Their mission:
"At Everlane, we want the right choice to be as easy as putting on a great T-shirt. That’s why we partner with the best, ethical factories around the world. Source only the finest materials. And share those stories with you – down to the true cost of every product we make. It’s a new way of doing things. We call it Radical Transparency."
Bingo. Jolie is well known for her advocacy for human rights groups and, of course, she would choose to support their mission. They research factories and only utilize those that pass muster, and are in line with their ethical standards and quality expectations.

The care that the company takes in making sure that quality and integrity go into every product they sell is obvious, but even more, for all their mask sales and all 100% Human products, 10 percent of those sales are donated to the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), a nonprofit organization that fights for everyone's civil liberties.
Of course, I will never be able to afford a $7,000 dress from The Row like Jolie, but a $5 mask? You bet. I ordered a five-pack of black masks and also a The Silk 100% Human Bandana that I am going to rock during my workouts!

Amazing how good it feels to buy something that I know is part of something much bigger than just sales. And I am protecting those around me when I wear a mask while I channel Angelina.
Win-win.
