The Cubs didn’t get him a aren’t giving Anthony rizzo an and an extension Anthony Rizzo signed a team friendly deal and the Cubs does should resign him give him whatever he wants he is the face of the organization he is Mr. cub 2.0 he is this generations Ron Santo that alone is enough reason for the Cubs To extend his contract
My favorite current baseball player is Anthony RiZZO! RiZZO is one of the Chicago Cubs greatest player and was the 2016 World Series team if you didn’t already know that! Rizzo reminds me a lot of the great Ron Santo! I not old enough to have seen Ronnie play for the cubs but I had listened to him for years on WGN radio before he passed and he was a diehard cub who loved baseball just like Anthony Rizzo and both stars suffered from a life threatening disease!
Rizzo is a three-time all star. Rizzo was selected by the Boston Red Sox in the sixth round of the 2007 MLB draft when Theo Epstein was still in Boston!
Rizzo became a top minor league prospect in the Red Sox organization. After being traded to the Cubs in 2012 and brought to the cubs organization he developed into an All-Star player and the face of the cubs in organization. The cubs need to give RiZZO an extension and make him a cub for life.
