Gravy
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 1/2 cup beef broth
Here's how to make it:
- Put the egg into a bowl and beat lightly. Put the flour into another bowl.
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season the steaks with salt and pepper. Dip the steaks into the egg and then into the flour. Put the steaks into the hot oil. Cook until browned on both sides, about 2 to 3 minutes per side. Remove to a plate.
- To make the gravy, whisk together the butter, flour and beef broth until smooth. Season with salt and pepper. Cook, stirring, about 2 minutes.
- Put the steaks back into the gravy and cook to heat through.
