Bourbon Almond Ice Cream Recipe by Donna John

Making my husband’s favorite ice cream for his birthday… bourbon almond. Seriously one of the easiest recipes and can be done with lots of flavor combinations

1/4 - 1/2 cup alcohol of choice (bourbon, whiskey, rum, etc.)

1 1/2-gallon ice cream (vanilla, chocolate, peach, etc.)

chopped almonds, pecans, cashews or walnuts

Here's how to make it: 

Mix all the ingredients together in a large bowl. 

Put it in the freezer to refreeze. 

(1/4-1/2 cup alcohol of choice to 1/2 gallon softened ice cream and as many nuts/extras as you like- mix it all together and refreeze ). The more alcohol, the softer the ice cream freezes.
