I've never had this issue but it could be because I actually add water to my sauce. It's not a lot of water that I add but I do it because that's how I get all of the sauce out of a jar or can. Like today's lasagna, I am using 3 jars of Classico sauce, so I added about an inch of water to one jar put the lid on gave it a shake then added that water and sauce into the 2nd jar and so on. I wonder if adding that bit of water to my sauce prevents this.
