This is the sour cream-based dip recipe you've heard about. Yes, it kind of has a reputation for being one of the most well-known dip recipes. Some call it Million Dollar Dip, and some prefer to call it Crack Dip. Whatever you call it, this easy gluten-free party dip recipe is sure to be the first dip to get eaten at your get-togethers.
This creamy cold dip is made with sour cream, dry ranch salad dressing mix, bacon, green onions (scallions) and shredded cheddar cheese. The simple ingredients are mixed together then garnished with more bacon, green onions and cheese. (Here's how to cook bacon in the microwave.) You want to dip into a big bowl of it right now, don't you?
If you have time, make the dip about an hour ahead of time so the flavors are meld together. Serve this million dollar dip with crackers, tortilla chips, potato chips, corn chips or fresh cut-up vegetables like celery, carrots, red peppers, broccoli, sugar snap peas or cherry tomatoes.
