Based on Proactiv's cult following, and the fact that my kids' faces are looking pretty good these days, I would say the system clearly works. But those same retinoids in Proactiv that help keep your teen's acne at bay require some extra care. Not only do retinoids make skin very sensitive to UV rays and more prone to sunburn, the sunlight also can affect how the treatment works.
