Such a wonderful suggestion, Mindy Hudon, M.S., CCC-SLP . My fave books to read to my kids were Mother Goose, Dr. Seuss, Goodnight Moon, The Kissing Hand ... I could go on and on. There's nothing so special as reading to and then later, reading with your children!
