Remind your daughter every day of the words of the first woman from a major political party to run for President of the United States, Hillary Clinton. She was speaking to little girls just like yours when she said, “… never doubt that you are powerful and deserving to pursue your dreams. Our best days are still ahead of us.”

In the face of TV programing, advertising, cultural norms and political slogans that demean and belittle the dreams and aspirations of young girls and women, it’s up to us moms and dads to ensure that our daughters can pursue their dreams as easily as our sons. Like Hillary, let's be positive about our future.
