Project Linus: Sometimes Happiness Is a Warm Blanket! How You Can Help! by S Roberts

I have always loved naps and no matter how hot it is I have to have a blanket to cover up with. It also has to be MY blanket, a Little Giraffe chenille throw to be exact. So a few years ago a friend was diagnosed with cancer, all I could think about was her having to sit in a hard plastic chair in a cold environment for her treatments. Knowing how much comfort my blanket gave me just to take a nap, I sent her one. 

She still talks about how comforting that blanket was when she was faced with so much uncertainty. Project Linus is a national organization that provides blankets to kids in crisis situations, being treated for grave illnesses or even a broken leg. There are a plethora of ways you can contribute to this worthy cause.
