#30Seconds Live: Author & Entrepreneur Julie Burton Shares Her New Minneapolis Co-Working Space, ModernWell! by Elisa Schmitz

One of the things I love most about 30Seconds is meeting our amazing tribe members in real life (IRL). After interacting with them on the site and through social media, and reading all their great tips, meeting in person is just a natural reinforcement of the relationship; it feels like we already know each other. Which is exactly how I felt when I met Julie Burton today in Minneapolis!

Julie has spent 20+ years working as a fitness instructor, author, self-care expert and teacher while raising her four children (ages 13 to 23) alongside her husband of 25 years. Co-founding the Twin Cities Writing Studio in 2015 and publishing "The Self-Care Solution: A Modern Mother’s Guide to Health and Well-Being" in 2016, Julie’s life transformed. Inspired by the reactions from around and outside her writing table, Julie decided to create the brick-and-mortar ModernWell co-working space to empower women to connect with themselves and each other.

ModernWell "balances independent spirit with holistic well-being, championing a one-of-a-kind, work-life community." It's a place where you can do everything from meeting a friend, colleague, or client for a cup of coffee or tea to scheduling a board meeting or listening to an inspiring speaker. It's also great if you simply want to get out of your house or office to work on the novel you’ve always wanted to write, or just sit by the fire (seriously!) and read a good book. With open seating and private workspaces, Wi-Fi, coffee, tea, healthy food, private conference and consult rooms, yoga and ongoing enrichment classes, ModernWell is a space where women are supported and nourished.
