"Man cave" is such a popular term it even appears in Webster's dictionary. Why don't women have a similar escape? About 95 percent of women agree that it is important to have time to yourself but almost three-fourths of us put the needs of family and friends before our own, neglecting this precious time to ourselves. We all need a space to call our own with items of comfort and relaxation, and I think it is time for women to claim their space!
I recently created a She Shed in an unused spot in our home and loaded it with my favorites after being inspired by a box of goodies Fiber One sent. I included:
- cozy blanket
- eye mask
- relaxing aromatherapy spray
- can of my favorite flavor of La Croix
- hidden canister of guilt-free sweet treats to indulge
Many women are lacking in necessities like hydration, relaxation, sleep and nutrition. Create a place to relax, reboot and reinvigorate!
