A Simple gift to encourage others that doesn't break the bank by Tiffany Zook

Recently, our home school co-op ran an elementary class called Lemonade Stand. The course taught kids entrepreneurial skills, business plans and marketing techniques. At the end of the eight-week sessions, students ran a snack bar for the families attending co-op. The class generously donated the proceeds to The Gem Foundation, a home for special needs children in Uganda. To encourage their philanthropic efforts, we wrapped up a special gift for each child to enjoy. Here's what you need: 

• Small cans of root beer 
• Mini bags of popcorn 
• Ribbon 
• Tag: "Thank you! We are "Rooting" For You!" 

Use the ribbon to bundle the popcorn and soda together and attach the note card. A gift of encouragement doesn't have to break the bank.
