Kids have so little control over what they get to decide. One way to give them some decision-making power is to make a certain night of the week movie night, and then let kids decide what to watch (within reason, of course)! 

Maybe the first Friday, your oldest gets to choose. The next Friday, the middle child picks. The third Friday, the baby finally gets his or her turn. And then repeat the pattern. Watch how excited your kids get when it’s their turn to be in charge. 

And make sure they don’t forget it's their turn to pop the popcorn for everyone!
